About The Position

Full Stack Engineer Our Client – San Francisco, CA (On-site, 5 days/week) Full-time | $160K–$230K base + 0.1%–0.5% equity About Our Client Our client is the collaborative AI platform powering defense contractors and innovative companies to find, pursue, and win government contracts faster. They're building the intelligence layer for the future of B2G (business-to-government) spend—turning fragmented public data into actionable insights so America's best tech reaches the warfighter at godspeed. Backed by Y Combinator (S24), top defense investors, and with customers including Fortune 500s, fast-growing defense startups, the U.S. Government, and NATO partners, they've already helped win hundreds of millions (approaching $1B+) in contracts in under a year. The team is ~11–15 people, shipping rapidly, and scaling their enterprise motion in the U.S. with international expansion across 60+ nations on the horizon. The Role As a Full Stack Engineer (70/30 backend/frontend lean), you'll build and own end-to-end features: data pipelines that process the daily firehose of government spending/opportunity data, AI agents powered by LLMs for opportunity matching and recommendations, intuitive React/Next.js UIs for users to browse, interpret, and act on insights, and tools that make pursuing contracts radically easier. You'll work closely with founders, customers (defense BD/capture teams), and the product team—talking directly to users, iterating fast, presenting prototypes, and shipping high-quality code daily in a high-stakes, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of full-stack experience (new grads/startup founders ok if you can start by early 2026 and show strong shipping).
  • Strong in React, Next.js, Python; comfortable across the stack but prefer backend-leaning.
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents and utilizing LLMs effectively (e.g., OpenAI APIs).
  • Confidence presenting to customers and thriving under direct feedback.
  • Genuine passion for national security, defense tech, and solving mission-critical problems.
  • US citizen (required for work on sensitive defense data).
  • Excited to work in-person in San Francisco 5 days/week.

  • Create intuitive, customer-facing UIs that defense pros love (and get roasted by them for feedback!).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: present to customers, gather requirements, iterate quickly, and ship production software.
  • Contribute to scaling the platform as ARR grows and global expansion accelerates.
