Full-stack Engineer
About The Position
About the Role We are looking for a self-starter engineer who loves building new products in an iterative and fast-moving environment. In this role, you will be bringing our smartest matchmaking AI to world. You will also be building internal tools that's gonna be used by AIs. You will also collaborate closely with the product and research teams to create the structure of this innovative agentic system. In this role, you will: Own the development of new customer-facing social networking experience. Collaborate with product designers, and leadership to create cutting-edge products. Make internal tools for team as well as for AIs. Optimize applications for speed and scale About Ditto Ditto is reimagining how people meet — starting with dating. We’re building the first fully agentic social platform where AI does the heavy lifting: understanding your preferences, finding compatible matches, and even setting up real-life dates. Our cofounders dropped out of UC Berkeley in their freshman year to build this vision. Since then, Ditto has gone viral across campuses, set up tens of thousands of real dates, and attracted funding from Google and top-tier VCs, along with brilliant engineers and researchers from MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, and DeepMind. Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
- Proficiency with fundamental data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js and/or other web technologies
- Proficiency with some backend languages and frameworks (Typescript / bun is preferred, experience in Nest.js is a plus)
- Experience with microservice architecture using a variety of infrastrctrue services like RabbitMQ.
- Experience with non-relational databases. e.g., MongoDB & Redis
- Experience in AI/ML pipelines (no specific stack required)
- Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines
