About The Position
About Tandem Tandem is building a multi-modal AI office space broker, capable of walking people through every step of their office search in an automated, personalized and scalable way. The way office space works and the industry behind it is getting completely flipped on its head right now. We are in the middle of a MAJOR disruption driven by three things: Nearly 50% of office space is currently sitting empty in US cities. Hybrid and remote work are here to stay. The five-days-in-the-office workweek is going away forever for many, many, many jobs. AI has reached the point where it can fully replace human office brokers We've already placed hundreds of companies in offices, we're doing 8 figures in yearly GTM, and we're just getting started. We're a small, experienced team - currently we have 15 full time employees, and you would be joining as the 6th engineer including the CTO. Expect a fast-paced environment where you'll have significant engineering ownership plus the opportunity to impact things outside of engineering like product, design, strategy, etc. You will report directly to the CTO, who is highly technical (ex-Google) and led two previous YC companies before Tandem.
Requirements
- 2-8 years of full time engineering experience
- Experience at a VC-backed startup, ideally at a very early stage
