About The Position

About ZoomLogi ZoomLogi is an AI-native operating system for healthcare logistics. We help pharma, biotech, distributors, diagnostics, medical device companies, and health systems orchestrate complex, sensitive shipments with real-time visibility, risk detection, and AI-driven interventions. We’re backed by top-tier investors (including General Catalyst) with early commercial traction across healthcare and life sciences, from Fortune 100 to SMBs. Our founding team is ex-Uber Freight / Gusto with deep experience in logistics, marketplaces, and scaled operations. Role overview We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer (2–7 years of experience) to build core product capabilities across our Python backend and TypeScript/React frontend . You’ll ship customer-facing features end-to-end—everything from real-time shipment visibility and alerting to workflow automation and AI-assisted interventions—working closely with the founding team and moving fast with real users in production. This is a high-ownership role: you’ll take meaningful product areas from idea → design → implementation → release → iteration.

Requirements

  • 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong full-stack fundamentals: you can comfortably work across backend, frontend, and APIs.
  • Experience shipping production software with modern tooling and good engineering hygiene (tests, code reviews, CI/CD).
  • Proficiency with TypeScript + React and strong backend experience in Python (or ability to ramp quickly).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and building APIs (REST/GraphQL patterns are fine).
  • Ownership mindset: you’re proactive, pragmatic, and care about the end user.
  • Based in San Francisco and excited about in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end product features across frontend and backend (React/TypeScript + Python).
  • Implement real-time visibility experiences: shipment timelines, statuses, exceptions, alerting, and operational dashboards.
  • Create workflow and automation capabilities (rules, triggers, actions), including AI-assisted voice/email interventions where appropriate.
  • Integrate with external systems (carriers, forwarders, IoT providers, ERPs, customer systems) via APIs, webhooks, and event streams.
  • Improve reliability, performance, and observability (instrumentation, logging, metrics, alerting).
  • Contribute to security and compliance practices (SOC 2, HIPAA/GDPR-aligned controls where applicable).
  • Collaborate closely with product/design and customer-facing teams to iterate quickly and deliver outcomes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus meaningful equity (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff).
  • Best-in-class medical and dental benefits.
  • High-impact work in a mission-critical space, helping prevent losses and failures in global healthcare and life sciences supply chains.
  • Tight collaboration with an experienced founding team (ex-Uber Freight / Gusto) and top-tier investors.
  • SF HQ (with a Chicago office) and a small, senior team moving fast.
