Full Stack Engineer
About The Position
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Full Stack Engineer who will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features, improve performance, and help scale our platform to support millions of users. In this role, the Engineer will work across our modern frontend and backend stack to build high-quality, high-impact features. They will be responsible for everything from translating design specs into elegant UI components to implementing robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration throughout the ecosystem.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases)
- Experience with React, Next.js and Tailwind
- SQL skills - able to write, debug, and optimize queries
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and scalability principles
- Experience with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud or AWS), including CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure as code
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven, ownership mentality
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
