About The Position

The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for web application development, covering both client-side and server-side aspects. This multifaceted position requires mastery across various domains including server architecture, networking, user interface and experience design, as well as database management. Their role is critical for ensuring a seamless, integrated web service experience, directly contributing to the fulfillment of user needs and the achievement of organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years in software engineering.
  • Expertise in front-end technologies like React or Vue.
  • Proficient in back-end development using Node, PHP, Ruby, and related languages.
  • Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in web application architecture and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Skilled in testing frameworks, responsive design, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
  • Excellent organizational and inter-team communication abilities.
  • A deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), data storage & replication, REST
  • Knowledge of Linux server environments including web servers (nginx, Apache)
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in UI/UX design.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Familiarity cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence) or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with Laravel
  • Experience with Containerization (docker, ECS, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the creation, deployment, and optimization of web applications and APIs, focusing on security, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Foster innovation and collaboration with the Product and Design teams to explore new web development avenues.
  • Participate and support the implementation and enhancement of deployment pipelines.
  • Participate actively in code reviews and brainstorming sessions to elevate technical strategies.
  • Remain abreast of the latest in web technology and frameworks.
  • Assist in project scope definition and development effort estimation with the product management team.
