Full Stack Developer (Denver Area)
About The Position
Want to work on the apps used for space capabilities and cutting-edge technologies? Yes, we said space! Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Denver-area full-stack developer who has an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. If you have Angular experience and a solid understanding of key web application design principles, you might be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nationâs most complex space app user experience challenges. We are a small company dispersed across the U.S. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive. This is a fully onsite role in Centennial, CO. Due to the nature of our work, this person needs to already have Active Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for SCI.
Requirements
- You are a strong UI developer with 3+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
- You have experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+) and/or expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++.
- You are knowledgeable about modern frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular experience.
- You have experience with or a strong interest in map libraries and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
- You understand W3C compliance.
- You understand key web application design principles.
- You enjoy working closely with both internal and external design teams, enjoy the UI/UX design process, and ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
- You have an Active Top Secret Clearance and are eligible for SCI.
- You are willing to work onsite daily in Centennial, CO.
- You are a US Citizen who lives in the USA (due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies this is a firm requirement).
