Join the team responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of code, and interpretation of business requirements. You’ll work on impactful projects like in-house lending and customer information management solutions, with autonomy and collaboration at the core. What you’ll do: Analyze and develop new code, including automation, integration and unit tests Implement code fixes and support user testing Build and execute automation tests Ensure technical solutions are developed and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner Collaborate in an agile environment to break down requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Work with both legacy systems and new application development, supporting our in-house lending software What we’re looking for: Innovative problem-solver and critical thinker with a customer focus Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills who thrives in a self-directed team setting Advocate of clean, maintainable code and modern development practices Motivated professional with a strong passion for technology and a commitment to ongoing learning What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering and at least three to five years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Ruby Ability to produce working code with minimal supervision on routine development tasks Experience with frameworks/technologies such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET, Django Experience with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), Kubernetes, or Docker is an asset You belong here At FCC, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace – one that reflects the communities where we live, work and play.
