About The Position

Mosaic Service Partners is seeking a high-potential Full Stack Engineer to build and operate Mosaic’s in-house application portfolio, supporting field sales execution, in-home customer experience, and cross-brand operational leverage across its growing residential services platform. Reporting to the Vice President of Technology, this role owns the full lifecycle of application development, from user experience and APIs to data persistence, integrations, production reliability, and security. The mission is to translate messy, real-world field inputs into structured, reliable workflows that improve conversion, reduce rework, and enable Mosaic to scale its brands with consistency and speed, while laying a durable foundation for AI-enabled product capabilities. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role for an engineer who treats production systems like a business-critical product and is comfortable operating close to sales reps, operators, and downstream systems in a PE-backed, multi-brand environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent operating experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience building and operating production web applications
  • Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend development (React or similar JavaScript language/framework; Node.js, Python, or equivalent)
  • Strong proficiency working at the database layer, particularly utilizing Postgres SQL
  • Experience with Cloud native development practices, utilizing AWS or similar cloud hosting environments.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs, managing schemas, and handling integrations
  • Hands-on experience with production operations: monitoring, incidents, and reliability
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments close to business stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building internal tools or vertical SaaS products for field, sales, or operations teams
  • Exposure to AI-enabled product features with structured outputs and evaluation discipline
  • Familiarity with PE-backed, multi-brand, or post-acquisition environments
  • Experience with mobile-first, offline-capable, or workflow-heavy applications

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Mosaic’s in-house applications across UI, backend services, and database layers
  • Ship features end-to-end, owning frontend experience, API contracts, persistence, and release readiness
  • Use reusable components, shared services, and stable schemas so new features get cheaper over time
  • Maintain disciplined release practices including environment separation (dev/stage/prod), CI checks, and rollback plans
  • Design workflows that prioritize field usability while enabling a future self-guided customer experience
  • Implement AI-powered roleplay, insights extraction, and assistive workflows as product features, not demos
  • Implement structured logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerts for Tier-1 workflows
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC), audit logging, and least-privilege patterns
