Our team is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the VA T4NG Consolidated Corporate Support Services (CCSS) program serving our Department of Veterans Affairs Corporate Portfolio clients across the entire U.S. The ideal candidate will have extensive Angular, .NET Core, .NET Framework and SQL experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Eight (8) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years or more as a developer
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with Angular (experience with Angular 18+ preferred)
  • Proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript (4.x), Bootstrap (5.x), jQuery (3.6+)
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, including: Writing stored procedures, Managing databases, and Creating tables and writing queries
  • Experience with: Visual Studio (2019–2022), Git (version control), APIs, Windows environments, Microsoft Azure, IIS (Internet Information Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
  • Ability to obtain a VA Public Trust

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and best practices for successful application upgrades and/or modernizations using Angular and .NET Core.
  • Design, develop, and test new features in VA provided applications.
  • Responsible for regular communication with colleagues involved in all development processes.
  • Analyze, implement, test, and troubleshoot bug-fixes.
  • Determine user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepare operating instructions; design and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
  • Ensure software standards are met.
  • Use and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Contribute to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
