Canopy USA is now positioned to consolidate operations across its three business units - Wana, Jetty, and Acreage - realizing synergies, cost savings, and supporting growth in state-legal markets across the U.S. Through coverage of key market segments including flower via Superflux, vape and concentrates via Jetty, edibles and beverages via Wana, and retail through The Botanist, Canopy USA is well positioned to accelerate growth with an emphasis on the Midwestern and Northeastern U.S. markets. A technical generalist and full stack developer who can work across our complete application stack, not just one specific area. Responsibilities include building robust system integrations, automations, and data pipelines while enhancing and optimizing our current systems. This role will be responsible for connecting disparate systems through APIs, creating automated workflows, ensuring seamless data flow across our technology stack, and continuously improving our existing solutions to meet evolving business needs.

  • Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
  • Build integrations with third-party services and internal systems.
  • Develop automated workflows using tools like Power Automate, or custom solutions.
  • Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines for data transformation and migration.
  • Develop real-time and batch data processing solutions.
  • Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and integrations.
  • Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process.
  • Enhancing and optimizing existing systems for improved performance, scalability, and functionality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar).
  • Experience with API development and integration patterns.
  • Experience with data ETL and tools such as Microsoft Fabric.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to visualize a proposed system and be able to build it.
  • Proficiency in backend languages (Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools and techniques.
  • Annual compensation commensurate with experience from $90,000 - $140,000
