We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Morgan Stanley At Work group under WMIMT. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Engineering position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. This is an Associate position that provides specialist full-stack web development expertise and creates solutions for Morgan Stanley corporate clients to manage their equity plans.

  • Building high quality technology solutions for wealth management.
  • Re-architect core components with modern architecture focusing on high availability, resiliency, and scalability.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, global team members and foster an inclusive and positive working environment in the team.
  • Understand complex requirements and prioritize work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate potential solutions for architectural considerations with a can-do attitude.
  • Minimum 1+ Yrs of professional experience in software development role using Java, Javascript, and React.
  • Strong application design and Object-oriented skills.
  • Strong fundamentals of domain/event/message driven architecture and REST services.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills with strong knowledge of Data Structures/Algorithms.
  • Agile development principles, methodologies, and understanding of CI/CD/CM/SDLC.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with scripting (Bash/PowerShell) and the Linux platform.
  • Experience with RDBMS systems like POSTGRES, Oracle, etc using SQL.
