As part of the Inventory Management Applications Suite, Application Developer is responsible for leading very high volume / low latency enterprise multi-tiered Java applications to provide cutting edge solutions for the Stock Record and related Application in the Capital Markets domain while following the industry best practices and Citi standards. The primary responsibility will be the design and development and providing Level 3 support for these applications. Coordination between stakeholders and teams; thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Stock Record is business critical, with complex interfaces/dependencies, consisting of time sensitive deliveries. As an Application Developer, the candidate must have a strong emphasis on Microservice architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX angular expertise, who can implement solutions (conceptualize, design and development) while working and collaborating with a distributed team of developers working simultaneously on different application layers (UI, server side and database/reporting) towards developing enterprise solutions for large projects. Collaborating with various internal teams and stakeholders is a must to provide best solutions and support. This requires a highly experienced Angular, Java developer, with Microservices development experience, who has a track record of delivering highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle. The candidate will also be expected to work on Java/Weblogic technology stack as we work towards modernizing and simplifying the application to microservices ecosystem.
