Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Designs software code using multiple programming languages.
Tests newly developed software code.
Documents code per the Company's processes.
Mentors those in less senior positions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent.
Four (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Proven experience leading diverse teams delivering Financial, Pricing, and or Rating Systems within complex enterprise settings.
Strong understanding of the platforms and technologies which support SDLC leveraging CI/CD principles.
Experience leading teams working in Business Rule Management System, Policy Grid Architecture, Domain Object Model, and Business Process Management.
Experience working with Revenue Systems: Rating, Invoicing, Settlement.
Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Excellent and proven problem-solving skills.
Skills/knowledge considered plus to have such as Java, JMS(AMQ/Tibco), Jenkins, C++, Tuxedo, Angular, Java Script, Linux/Script, Eclipse, JDBC, Oracle DB, Spring/Spring Boot, REST/SOAP WS, WebLogic, Cloud Technology (Azure/GCP) and S3.
