About The Position

GovCIO is currently hiring for Full Stack Dev/DevOps. This position will be located in Fort Bragg, NC and will be an onsite position. Responsibilities Assists in the building, testing, and maintenance of infrastructure and tools that allow software solutions to be developed and released. Serves as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that all infrastructure requirements are met. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors, and may supervise team members. Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment, using knowledge of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and computers. Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. Installs all new hardware, systems, and software for networks. Designs, creates, and builds network services, equipment and devices. Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning. Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.

Requirements

  • High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI
  • Experience with Containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including Gitlab
  • Experience with administration, storage, and networking environments, analyzing network and bandwidth requirements, and conducting requirements analysis, system availability, and risk assessment
  • Experience with managing. Administering, configuring, deploying, and maintaining environments and system integration tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, and Ceph
  • Experience with using Rancher to manage Kubernetes clusters and Kubernetes host applications
  • experience with application migration, hybrid cloud environments, and discontinued environments
  • Experience with writing automated provisioning scripts. Ansible playbook. Linux automation scripts, Windows automation scripts using PowerShell, and rudimentary. API's. Or automation scripts to interact with existing API's.
  • Experience with managing and developing cloud and cloud native applications, technologies, and networks in an air gap environment. 3 plus years of experience with API development. And integration.
  • 2 plus years of experience with user authorization, Role implementation, and code build and deployment.
  • Three plus years of experience with Python, JavaScript, and React.
  • Experience with git management. Include code repo management check-in, commit, and merge request.
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts such as S3 and Lambda
  • Three years of experience with API development and integration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with agile development methodologies and working with agile teams using collaboration tools, including. JIRA Confluence, and disclosure.
  • Experience working with CM tools. Including GitLab. Git-centric and CI/CD Workflows.
  • Experience working with U.S. Special Operations
