Full Stack AI Developer (Hybrid - Dallas or Houston, TX)
About The Position
We are seeking a Developer with strong expertise in C#, SQL Server, Angular, and Azure Cloud technologies to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade AI applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks, including Semantic Kernel, Kernel Memory, Azure AI Foundry, and the integration of multiple LLMs in advanced architectures such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). This role requires a balance of full-stack development skills with a forward-looking mindset on AI-driven application development, ensuring scalability, security, and performance in production systems. We are offering an opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based in Dallas or Houston, TX.
Requirements
- BA/BS plus at least 6 years of relevant professional full stack experience in C#/.NET building REST APIs, and front-end experience with Angular (latest versions preferred) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Expertise in SQL Server including complex queries, performance tuning, and data modeling.
- Prior work on AI-driven applications in production environments including chatbots.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system architecture.
- Problem solver with a practical mindset and ability to balance innovation with execution.
- Strong collaborator and communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves
- Practical experience with Semantic Kernel, Kernel Memory, AI Foundry, or similar AI frameworks.
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
- Experience with KendoUI
- Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with LLM integration and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Background in machine learning concepts (vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering).
- Exposure to multimodal AI capabilities such as: Voice-to-Text (speech recognition) Text-to-Speech (natural voice generation) Image-to-Text (OCR, vision-to-language) Other modalities (audio, video, and sensor data AI applications).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET, REST APIs, and Angular.
- Develop complex data models and stored procedures using SQL Server.
- Ensure best practices in secure coding, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Integrate multiple Large Language Models (LLMs) into production workflows.
- Leverage Azure AI services including Semantic Kernel, Kernel Memory, and AI Foundry for intelligent application capabilities.
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications in Azure Cloud with best practices around cost efficiency, resilience, and performance
- Collaborate closely with team architects and other developers in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, ensuring alignment with long-term product goals.
- Stay up to date on AI and cloud-native development trends, evaluating new tools and frameworks for adoption.
- Ideal candidate understands how to work inside an Agile development team including knowledge of Agile estimation of practices.
- Brings perspective on how we can improve or adapt processes to be more efficient, effective, or impactful when it comes to requirements, development, design, testing and estimating.
