About The Position

The Full Service Technician plays a crucial role in the reconditioning, reassembly, and testing of polemount transformers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and product quality. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to work order instructions to meet customer specifications.

Requirements

• Experience in reconditioning and assembly of electrical equipment, preferably transformers.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and product quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documents.
• Familiarity with shop equipment and tools used in transformer assembly and testing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
• Basic electrical knowledge or training.

Responsibilities

• Recondition, reassemble, and test polemount transformers.
• Read and follow work order instructions to rebuild transformers to customer specifications.
• Gather necessary parts and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition before use.
• Clean and inspect components, replace gaskets, change oil, and perform basic repairs on transformers.
• Conduct quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation.
• Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately.
• Return equipment to the proper location after use.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
