Your Impact as a Full Service School Therapist: Provide meaningful individual, family, and group counseling in schools, homes, or office settings Use a solution-focused, family systems approach tailored to each client’s needs Complete assessments, evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation in a timely manner Develop treatment plans using current ICD/DSM diagnoses
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a Florida license-eligible program (mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy)
- Completed internship qualifying you to register as a registered intern in FL
- Level 2 clearance from DCF Clearing house - https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Reliable transportation, valid FL driver’s license, and auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children, families, and treatment planning
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Familiarity with electronic health records
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful individual, family, and group counseling in schools, homes, or office settings
- Use a solution-focused, family systems approach tailored to each client’s needs
- Complete assessments, evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation in a timely manner
- Develop treatment plans using current ICD/DSM diagnoses
