About The Position

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible and accountable for residents' evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of therapy interventions.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, in good standing.
  • Master's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and revises plan of care based on the residents' needs and establishes functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plans.
  • Plans for residents' discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents' needs.
  • Educates other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents.
