About The Position

Tier One Technologies is hiring a Full Disk Encryption / SecureDoc Specialist to support the Endpoint Technology Engineering Infrastructure team for our direct U.S. Government client. This remote Contract-to-Hire position will be originated in Raleigh, NC. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Requirements

A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required.
3+ years of experience working with various Endpoint encryption products.
Proven testing capabilities with various Endpoint products.
Hands-on incident escalation and remediation, including documentation of incident response workflows.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be eligible to obtain a Position of Public Trust clearance.
All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.

Responsibilities

Support the Full Disk encryption requirement mandated by CISO as part of adhering to portions of the AS-805 Information Security Handbook specifically sections 9-7.1 Encryption.
Support Full Disk encryption platforms, specifically WinMagic SecureDoc.
Provide design and enhancements to Full Disk encryption (SecureDoc) and remote support platforms (Dameware).
Provide integration testing of new hardware devices for compatibility with (SecureDoc) and remote support platforms (Dameware).
Maintain Full Disk encryption (SecureDoc) and remote support platforms (Dameware) keeping them up to date and secure.
Provide expert level end user support and resolve issues escalated.
Manage and maintain WinMagic SecureDoc infrastructure components.
Provide day-to-day internal customer support (CISO, postal inspectors, postmasters, sales, clerks, etc.)
Participate in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for customers and management
Respond promptly to incidents in ServiceNow.
Will be assigned responsibility for advanced technical issues in the environment for problem resolution.
Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support for all servers, software and other hardware directly or with team members.
Test latest encryption software packages against current and future hardware and software platforms to ensure compatibility with the latest business refresh efforts.
Perform hands-on incident escalation and remediation, including documentation of incident response workflows.
Develop data encryption and OS recovery tools to recover lost or corrupted user data files from defective hardware or from failed machine startups.
Evaluate program failures and implement remediation solutions for success.
May be required to create time sensitive deliverables.
May lead project teams within assigned unit develop, plan and manage project tasks
