American Stone is looking to hire full-time Full Diesel Mechanic. Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair for fleet equipment, while maintaining a clean and safe work area. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIESEL MECHANIC As a full-time diesel mechanic, you'll be working on keeping a variety of quarry equipment running.You'll perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair for fleet equipment, while maintaining a clean and safe work area. QUALIFICATIONS Experience welding and basic metal fabrication. Ability to work on Wheeled Equipment such as: Semi-trucks, Dump trucks, Graders Ability to work on Heavy Equipment such as: Excavators, Loaders, Bulldozers Experience with Hydraulic, Diesel Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Brake and Air Systems Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, such as heavy lifting (comfortably lift 80 lbs.), standing for extended periods of time Ability to pass drug screening Physical strength and stamina to perform the job Certification in technical school for diesel mechanics preferred, but not required Ability to speak Spanish is a big plus. Requirements
