About The Position

Prepare, stock, and maintain pizza vending machine while supporting daily operations in a counter-service outlet. Ensure product quality, food safety, and guest satisfaction by keeping both vending and restaurant operations clean, organized, and running smoothly. Vending Machine Operations Prepare, portion, and stock pizzas for the vending machine following company recipes and quality standards. Load and rotate products into the machine, ensuring proper labeling, freshness, and temperature control. Conduct daily operational checks of the vending machine including temperature logs, functionality tests, and product inventory. Troubleshoot basic vending machine issues (e.g. jams, mis-dispenses, low stock alerts) and escalate technical problems to maintenance as needed. Maintain accurate records of stock levels, waste, and sales reports. Prep and Food Handling Assist with dough prep, sauce, toppings, and packaging of pizzas for both vending and restaurant service. Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and control food cost. Safely operate kitchen equipment including ovens, slicers, mixers and prep tools. Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations. Cleaning and Sanitation Clean and sanitize vending machine interior/exterior, prep stations, utensils, and work areas throughout shift. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for both the vending machine and restaurant kitchen. Dispose of expired or unsellable products according to company policy. Ensure all areas meet health department and company sanitation standards. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, quick-service restaurants, or vending operations preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of pizza experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, handling, and sanitation practices.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vending machine troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to split duties between vending machine management and restaurant support.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and strong guest service focus.
  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same.
  • Mobility throughout the facility.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
