About The Position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper at Stellar Property Group LLC is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's bookkeeping functions. This includes performing full-cycle bookkeeping duties, preparing financial statements, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and staying updated on accounting regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting skills.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and journal entries.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide financial information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AppFolio (2 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Process journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
