Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role.
• Deep understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Office suite.
• Strong communication skills and work ethics.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with Gusto Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounts payable and receivable (AP/AR) management.
• Entering and matching expenses, assigning them to the correct client.
• Processing payroll and sales tax reports.
• Managing the generation of over 250 invoices monthly.
• Completing bank reconciliations accurately and timely.
• Processing all General Ledger activity and reviewing for accuracy.
• Reconciling all accounts and creating journal entries.
• Collecting payments from customers.
• Performing month-end close activities.
• Preparing financial statements and reports for management.
• Complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Supporting the Operations team as required.
