About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our clients' financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, and will be proficient in financial software such as QuickBooks. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Requirements

• Proven 5+ years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
• Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred, however an Associate's degree in Accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Record and reconcile monthly data for multiple clients.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prepare and process sales tax returns and payroll tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all accounting practices.
• Utilize QuickBooks financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
