Maintain established metrics for accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
- 0-2 years work experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Experience using warehouse equipment: Ride on electric pallet jack Forklift Cherry Picker Reach Truck RF Scanner
Responsibilities
- Collect and read store orders that include item location, descriptions, and quantity.
- Gather the required cases of merchandise and transfer cases to pallets or conveyers using safe lifting techniques.
- Demonstrate ability to operate power equipment and perform preliminary safety checks of equipment.
- Ensure pallet security with tape and shrink wrap.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety guidelines.
- Perform general housekeep to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris.
- Participate in training for other warehouse duties.
- Carry out area strategy to maintain performance metric standards.
