About The Position

Silver Star Brands is seeking dedicated workers for the Fulfillment Team Member position in Oshkosh, WI. This seasonal role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, specifically during the 1st shift/mornings. The company, founded in 1934, is one of America's largest direct marketers of consumer gifts and household products, with a variety of brands under its umbrella. Seasonal team members will be responsible for completing customer orders efficiently and accurately, utilizing various processes such as picking, packing, and check packing.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods.
  • Physical manipulation of merchandise/materials including walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift 5 to 15 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds periodically.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and some computer skills.
  • Availability to work during scheduled shifts (mornings or afternoons/evenings).

Responsibilities

  • Complete customer orders in a fast-paced fulfillment warehouse environment.
  • Pick and pack items quickly and accurately into totes.
  • Return totes to the conveyor after packing.
  • Verify that items in the tote conform to customer orders as noted on work tickets.
  • Fill in as needed in picking, packing, bagging, and packaging areas.
  • Cross-train in producing work orders, material handling, truck loading, and manifesting.
  • Move and arrange totes and/or boxes as required.
