About The Position

1st Shift Opening – 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday (overtime as needed/required) Starting range $15.00 to $16.00 Our Fulfillment Support Specialist plays a key role in contributing to efficient departmental operations by assisting in all departmental duties and providing fill-in support to Associates, Saw Operators and Department Lead as needed. The position will manage material handling and daily station set up. Working as part of a team, this role ensures accuracy, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of the order fulfillment process. Summary of Job Duties Prepares, stages and maintains stations for production readiness by coordinating work orders and organizing raw materials. Assigns appropriate paperwork to stations and ensures documentation is completed and submitted at the end of each shift. Maintains accurate inventory levels of components and materials within designated workstations. Inspects secondary equipment (e.g., carts, tapers, etc.) to ensure equipment is ready for proper use. Operates a forklift to transport materials, work-in-progress items and finished goods safely. Provides coverage and support to department Associates & assists in training Associates on proper production processes, procedures and safety. Assists in conducting visual quality checks on parts prior to packaging. Is the backup to saw operators preparing materials precisely and maintaining saw equipment. Is the backup to the department Lead performing administrative duties, data entry and electronic communication. Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and surrounding production area.

Requirements

  • Experience with material handling and Forklift certification, or ability to become Forklift certified.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to assist across multiple areas and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to use hand tools, saws and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in non-climate controlled environment.
  • Reliable attendance required.
