About The Position

We're seeking candidates in the Twin Cities Metro area with the ability to work onsite as needed at the Bloomington Q-Central office in this hybrid role. Position Summary The Fulfillment Strategy & Services Manager (FSSM) leads and executes QBP’s Fulfillment strategy, including management of Retail Fulfillment Services, Supplier Fulfillment Services and Supplier Consignment programs. This role is responsible for executing E-Commerce and partner-led fulfillment strategies that drive revenue growth, service adoption and profitability across retailer and supplier channels. Key responsibilities include performance management, development of service models and go-to-market materials, external partner enablement and prioritization of technical and process capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses an innate drive for business development, a deep understanding of current E-Commerce trends, fluency in modern connectivity protocols, and experience with the operational requirements of third-party and indirect fulfillment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years managing direct and indirect Ecommerce, 3rd-party fulfillment, or related business.
  • 2+ years managing direct reports.
  • Fluency in technical requirements, benefits, shortcomings and relevance of modern digital connectivity protocols (API, EDI, EFT, etc), with demonstrated proficiency in their application.
  • Experience developing and managing performance via data and dashboards; ability to communicate insights through data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated efficacy through written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in both virtual and in-person presentation.
  • Ability to manage and negotiate diverse partners and service customers’ needs, capabilities and priorities.
  • Domestic and International Travel Ability to travel domestically and internationally 2 or more times a year which includes flying by plane and driving a motor vehicle. Must possess a valid US Passport and driver’s license and fulfill the requirements of being a QBP Approved Driver.
  • Physical Requirements Ability to perform work on a phone and computer extensively.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct Cycling and/or Outdoor Industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of, experience with, or passion for cycling a plus.
  • Demonstrated fluency in PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead QBP’s Fulfillment Strategy and Services (60%)
  • Establish and drive revenue growth and service profitability goals in support of annual business objectives.
  • Oversee Retailer Fulfillment Services (RFS) program, including its promotion to Retailers; collaborate with Customer Loyalty and Promotion Strategy Manager to enhance B2B promotion impact through fulfillment channels.
  • Spearhead organizational understanding of evolving customer, supplier and partner requirements tied to QBP’s fulfillment services and related functional capabilities.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on fulfillment service terminology and scope, distinguishing included service models from related business activities (e.g. Owned Brand D2C).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customer-facing sales and service teams on Retail Fulfillment Services, Supplier Fulfillment Services and Supplier Consignment.
  • Develop and maintain QBP’s Retailer and Supplier Fulfillment playbooks and pitch decks.
  • Establish and lead service implementation and review processes to evaluate performance by both QBP and Retailer or Brand partners; educate partners on roles and responsibilities for each type of fulfillment business relationship.
  • Partner with Category Business Managers to deliver a compelling assortment for retailers, aligned with their chosen sales channels.
  • Manage brand-relevant assortment plans within Supplier Fulfillment Services that support partner go-to-market strategies while mitigating QBP’s financial risk.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Sales Ops and DCAT teams to anticipate, address, and resolve process and/or operational hurdles related to QBP’s Fulfillment services.
  • Cultivate fulfillment partner relationships to drive revenue growth through fulfillment; understand partners’ capabilities, how they compliment QBP’s fulfillment business and define their roles and responsibilities in collaboration (e.g. Workstand, Masterlinq, Frengee, etc.).
  • Manage fulfillment partner relationships and serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholder related to these partners’ functions.
  • Develop QBP’s Future Fulfillment Capabilities (40%)
  • Lead adaptation of QBP’s wholesale distribution system to scale QBP’s consumer fulfillment for partnered Retailers, and of Brands for their chosen channels.
  • Identify, prioritize and lead implementation of new processes, procedures, capabilities and efficiencies to support distinct order profiles and sales channels as part of QBP’s consumer fulfillment business.
  • Define, scope and prioritize technical development required to sustain and grow QBP’s Retail Fulfillment Services (RFS), Supplier Fulfillment Services (SFS) and Supplier Consignment.
  • Partner with Digital Content and Retailer Technology teams to elevate QBP’s consumer-centric product content and its marketability through our Content Licensing Service (CLS).
  • Cultivate a business development pipeline of retailers, brands and service partners representing greatest revenue generating opportunity.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship for future team members as fulfillment operations expand.
