Location: Algona, WA (On-site) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Saturday – Tuesday, 8:00am – 6:00pm Reports To: Senior Fulfillment Services Manager Travel Required: None Compensation: $22.00-26.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly Summary COMC has an exciting opportunity for a Fulfillment Squad Captain (weekend shift) to join our team Algona, WA. The Squad Captain oversees the day-to-day processes of their squad, ensuring that work is completed accurately and efficiently. As a role model to squad members, the ideal Squad Captain will lead reliably and ethically, have a positive and contagious attitude, and uphold the values and standards set by the company. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative employee with outstanding interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and motivational skills. They are discreet, tactful, and timely. They will proactively seek out opportunities to build and maintain partnerships internally and externally. They thrive in a demanding, fast, and ever-changing environment. The ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, understand, and clarify business needs, and develop processes that achieve business objectives is a key indicator of success for this position.

Requirements

  • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and standard software, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Ability to learn new systems, tools, and procedures quickly.
  • Able to follow processes, meet productivity goals, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
  • Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or operational support preferred.

  • Maintains high level of confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Continue to handle the responsibilities outlined in the job description for Fulfillment Services Associate.
  • Gain experience in, and provide redundancy for, the following: Production
  • Understand and execute the priorities and SLAs of our company, ensuring they are consistently met, and alerting upper management of threats in advance.
  • Consistently meet agreed upon deadlines for weekly and/or monthly reports.
  • Create, maintain, re-evaluate, and improve metrics and standards for your squad, understanding it is a constantly evolving process.
  • Coach team members on proper card handling techniques to attain sufficient production output.
  • Explore opportunities for innovation and work with upper management on potentially incorporating these ideas to support our core values.
  • Solve issues reported by squad members in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support the company in implementing any changes to policies and/or procedures.
  • Ensure that all cards are processed securely.
  • Build a cohesive squad and continually invest in squad rapport.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with your squad and other squad members.
  • Continually invest in squad members to maintain and improve engagement and morale.
  • Prepare for and run huddles.
  • Conduct one-on-ones, providing positive and constructive feedback to squad members.
  • Envision professional development opportunities and paths for squad members in conjunction with upper management.
  • Consistently execute disciplinary issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Approve timesheets.
  • Training and re-training.
  • Conduct interviewing, hiring, and onboarding procedures and responsibilities as needed.
  • Be available to help other squads, squad captains, and upper management as needed.
  • Be available to work extended or alternate hours and weekends as needed.
