What you will be doing The Fulfillment Specialist at the Central Fulfillment Center is responsible for working in a closed-door, fast paced pharmacy production line and will be involved in the processing and shipping of prescription orders. Under the supervision of the PIC/Group Supervisor, the Fulfillment Specialist will also be receiving inventory, scanning, sorting, manifesting, and shipping the prescription orders using automated equipment/conveyor systems. The Fulfillment Specialist will work as part of a team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of orders and maintain a continuous and consistent workflow to help meet team goals. The position is based in Ridgefield, WA. The shift arrangement is typically a 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime to be expected. The Fulfillment Specialists work Sunday through Thursday, on 1 st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or on 2 nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

  • Pharmacy Assistant License in Washington
  • High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a retail or fulfillment center environment .
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.
  • Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, rotating, reaching, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Visual focus such as counting, observing, etc. is required consistently.
  • Performing repetitive tasks up to 100% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with an inventory management system, including working with scanning equipment, conveyor lines and/or robotic systems, etc.
  • Technical Experience: Central Fulfillment Pharmacy experience.
  • Prefers to work in a closed-door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, phone work.)
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.
  • Assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers (i.e. completed prescription orders) for delivery to stores. These are non-technician tasks to support central fill operations.
  • Maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.
  • Organize totes on pallets to prepare for shipment.
  • Works with transportation partners to ship completed totes to stores.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions.
  • Escalate technical and workflow issues as needed.
  • Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
  • Assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations as needed.
  • Create and maintain documentation as requested.
  • Assist Inventory Technicians as requested.
  • Participate in Inventory Audits.
  • Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.
