About The Position

The Fulfillment Specialist, Sr at Toppan Merrill is responsible for executing all fulfillment functions, including inventory management, order processing, and ensuring the accuracy of shipments. This role involves monitoring work orders, handling documentation, and addressing any issues with orders. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, and includes a floating day off each week.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience with warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, on short notice.
• Ability to hear well in areas that may be somewhat noisy.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to do basic math calculations.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Reads/reviews each customer order/job ticket to determine component parts and samples to be pulled and shipping instructions.
• Picks and retrieves product from shelving in warehouse to fulfill customer order or request using voice technology for inventory transactions.
• Checks quantity and quality of items to assure completeness of order and verifies with the use of the voice technology system.
• Operates equipment safely and efficiently including Drexel/forklift, order picker, electric/manual pallet jack, computer and RF's Terminal, printers, copy machines and stapling equipment.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Informs supervisor of any problems with equipment.
• Conducts cycle counts as required.
• Assures accuracy of orders.
• Prepares orders for shipping.
