The Fulfillment Technician (Day Shift) will be responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and distributing compounded medications while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting healthcare providers and improving patient outcome.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environment.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- Prior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Lifefile, PioneerRx, QS/1, or other applicable platforms).
- Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medication and fulfill medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensions.
- Track and manage medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Ensure timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providers.
- Monitor and replenish medication supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
