About The Position

The Fulfillment Operations Team Leader at Target is responsible for ensuring a consistent experience for guests by managing the fulfillment team, which picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely and efficiently. This role involves leading a team of hourly team members, planning workloads, and driving fulfillment goals to support sales growth and store profitability. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Model, train, and coach expectations to deliver the service standard.
• Lead your team and drive fulfillment goals.
• Utilize workload planning tools to ensure all scheduled workload is completed.
• Review fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve them.
• Create daily plans for your team with direction from your leader.
• Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions.
• Support onboarding and establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked.
• Lead and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up.
• Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
