The role of a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, planning department workload, process improvements, and leading a team of hourly team members. No two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include responsibilities such as demonstrating a service culture, leading your team to drive fulfillment goals, utilizing workload planning tools, reviewing fulfillment reporting, creating daily plans, and ensuring efficient delivery to guests.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
  • Lead your team and drive fulfillment goals.
  • Utilize workload planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduled workload.
  • Review all fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve.
  • Create daily plans for your team.
  • Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process, and efficiency.
  • Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pickup and ship from store workload.
  • Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions.
  • Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked.
  • Follow all safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches.
  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Model the execution of physical security processes.
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive up.
  • Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests.
  • Address all store emergency and compliance needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
  • Effective communication skills.
