About The Position

The Fulfillment Operations Team Leader at Target is responsible for ensuring a consistent experience for guests by managing the fulfillment team, which picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely and efficiently. This role involves leading a team of hourly team members, focusing on guest service, retail business fundamentals, and process improvements. The position requires planning daily workloads, reviewing fulfillment reporting, and creating daily plans to meet service standards. The Team Leader will also be involved in hiring, training, and developing team members while promoting a culture of safety and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop plans to resolve them.
• Create daily plans for the team with direction from leadership.
• Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions.
• Support onboarding and establish clear goals around quality and accuracy.
• Ensure timely ordering and stocking of supplies.
• Lead and demonstrate a culture of safety and compliance.
