About The Position

The Fulfillment Operations Team Leader at Target is responsible for leading a team that ensures efficient and effective fulfillment operations, delivering a consistent experience for guests. This role involves managing daily workloads, driving fulfillment goals, and fostering a culture of guest service excellence. The Team Leader will also focus on team development, operational efficiency, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning.
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
  • Drive fulfillment goals and understand the role in supporting sales growth.
  • Utilize workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring all orders are fulfilled.
  • Review fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve them.
  • Create intra-day workload optimization plans for the team with direction from the ETL.
  • Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pickup and ship from store workload.
  • Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team.
  • Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness with ETL guidance.
  • Support ETL in leading team onboarding and learning.
  • Lead and coach the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all fulfillment processes.
  • Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs, including early morning, evening, and weekends.
  • Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and modeling inclusive behaviors.
  • Model a safety advocacy culture and hold team accountable to working safely.
