About The Position

The Fulfillment I is an entry-level position at DRG Technologies, Inc., an industrial label manufacturer. This role is designed to train individuals in the essential functions of shipping, logistics, and finishing within the label industry. The employee will work alongside experienced shippers and finishers to gain practical knowledge of preparing, packaging, documenting, delivering, and finishing products with accuracy, care, and in alignment with customer requirements. The position includes making local deliveries using a company box truck and operating a forklift. The employee will be cross-trained in both Fulfillment and Finishing and will rotate between departments as needed based on workload and production schedules.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a box truck for local deliveries.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (training and certification provided if needed).
  • Willingness to work in both Shipping and Finishing areas depending on business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, pack, and stage finished label products for shipment.
  • Ensure shipments meet internal standards and customer-specific instructions for labeling, packaging, and carrier requirements.
  • Accurately match orders to shipping paperwork and verify order accuracy before dispatch.
  • Occasionally make local deliveries using a company box truck, ensuring timeliness, professionalism, and safe handling of products. Approximately 1-3 deliveries per week.
  • Monitor and update inventory of finished goods in internal systems.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining shipping and finished goods areas to promote efficiency and prevent mix-ups or delays.
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
  • Assist in finishing operations including operating rewind machines and performing quality checks.
  • Learn to handle and inspect label materials and ensure they meet specifications.
  • Support setup, cleanup, and changeovers for finishing machines under guidance from experienced finishers.
  • Verify shipping labels, packing slips, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct visual inspections of finished goods prior to shipping or during finishing processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of shipping, finishing, and delivery activities.
  • Safely move finished products, pallets, and materials using carts, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
  • Operate a forklift as required to load/unload materials and support both shipping and finishing operations.
  • Understand how to store, stack, and prepare products to prevent damage during transit or production.
  • Rotate between Shipping and Finishing departments as needed based on daily workload and production priorities.
  • Participate in cross-training to build flexibility and understanding across fulfillment operations.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting, use of PPE, and proper vehicle and machine operation.
  • Learn and follow standard operating procedures in both shipping and finishing areas.
