About The Position

The position involves team leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the Front End & Fulfillment Department. The supervisor will assign team members to activities, ensuring adequate staff coverage to meet customer demands and redeploying when necessary. Daily engagement with the team is essential to understand challenges and provide timely feedback and performance coaching. The role also includes empowering team members to make decisions, recognizing accomplishments, and fostering an environment of growth and development. Operational responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, addressing barriers to processes, and ensuring safety and security within the store. The supervisor will also oversee front end and fulfillment activities, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations.

  • Researches shortages or overages and handles register pulls.
  • Monitors Customer Service desk activity and supports when needed.
  • Validates readiness of delivery orders and monitors short picks.
  • Cross-functionally trains in other areas of the store.
  • Conducts walks of fulfillment area to monitor status.
  • Pulls, prepares, inspects, stages, and loads merchandise for customers.
  • Provides full leadership over the store as Manager-on-Duty.
  • Observes customer/associate interaction and provides coaching.
  • Ensures associates are prepared to deliver quality sales and service.
  • Manages associate response to call buttons and validates store cleanliness.
