About The Position
The position involves processing orders completely and accurately, ensuring that all orders are packed safely and efficiently. The role requires verifying order accuracy by checking order numbers and product quantities before shipping. Additionally, the candidate must maintain special safety precautions and equipment, be aware of storage techniques, space allocation, and stock rotation, and sort and prepare merchandise for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests. The individual will also create and manage vendor and internal transfer documentation, prepare merchandise for shipping with the necessary documentation, and verify the accuracy of all outgoing shipments. Responsibilities include loading packages onto carriers, conducting physical inventory counts in the assigned area, testing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and providing driver information for merchandise to relevant departments. The role supports technical activities between outbound shipments and vendors and requires maintaining a clean working area. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
