About the position

COMC has an exciting opportunity for a Fulfillment Services Associate 2nd Shift to join our team in Algona, WA. This person in the Fulfillment Services Department will contribute to the overall brand of the Company by ensuring collectable items are carefully and accurately picked, pulled, and organized for order processing. The responsibilities may also include operating proprietary automation machinery to effectively fulfill customer orders. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative employee with outstanding interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and motivational skills. They are discreet, tactful, and timely. They will proactively seek out opportunities to build and maintain partnerships internally and externally. They thrive in a demanding, fast, and ever-changing environment. The ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, understand, and clarify business needs, and develop processes that achieve business objectives is a key indicator of success for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Picks/Pulls inventory from warehouse using our proprietary system to fulfill customer orders
  • Prepares and organizes customer items for Order Sorting based on standardized criteria
  • Safely operates, loads, and unloads automated sorting (Sure Sort) machine
  • Packages customer orders and arranges them in the designated pickup area
  • Fulfills all customer orders within our SLA(s) while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, care, and efficiency
  • Collate dissimilar items into groups of similar items for storage in back stock and retrieving locations
  • Maintains a safe and organized work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat
  • Responsible for maintaining staged inventory in the warehouse and reporting any issues to your direct supervisor
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with the Squad Captain and others whether it be in-person, Microsoft Teams, or Email
  • Be available to work extended or alternate hours and weekends as needed
  • Be willing to cross-train and assist other departments/processes as assigned
  • Must perform at minimum productivity standards or higher
  • Uphold COMC values, quality standards, and exemplify C.A.R.D. culture
  • Be a willing and collaborative partner to support all areas of the organization
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and its applications (Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with or interested in learning about the trading card industry
  • Knowledgeable about professional sporting industry (NBA, NFL, MLB, including Hockey and Soccer etc.)
  • Knowledge in the non-sports card industry (Marvel, Entertainment, Trading Card Games, Pop Culture)
