The Fugitive Apprehension Agent position is responsible for conducting investigations related to violations of policy by staff, particularly in relation to staff and inmates. This role involves assisting various law enforcement agencies with criminal investigations on Oklahoma Department of Corrections property and those involving department employees, inmates, or community supervised offenders. Agents will conduct investigations into serious crimes within correctional facilities, secure crime scenes, prepare investigative reports, and testify in court. The position also includes planning and implementing executive protection assignments and providing security for visiting dignitaries.
