FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with multiple locations in the US, has an immediate need for multiple Fueling Ramp Manager positions for aircraft fueling at Detroit, Michigan airport operation. This position's primary duties include oversight of the Safety, Performance, and People fueling functions to reach optimal results. Preferred candidates will have a proven aviation fuel work history demonstrating Safety, Performance, Compliance, Customer Service, and People achievements. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directs and coordinates fueling activities to provide fast and efficient services for customers by performing duties personally or through other team members. Reviews data on incoming flights such as scheduled or estimated times of arrival or departure, destinations and down line station stops, to plan work activities. Directs and coordinates all operations functions and ensures workers and equipment are available for fueling and defueling services. Manages employees in the Fueling Department, including training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and ensuring employees successfully complete the Company's training program. Investigates causes of accidents and recommends safety measures for preventing further occurrences.

Requirements

  • Manager level fueling experience on an airport/military ramp
  • Aviation fuel safety knowledge
  • Able to accuracy and timely complete daily reporting and administrative requirements
  • Ability to lead Fueling Zone Supervisors and fuelers to meet the highest performance delivery standards
  • Possesses the ability to train and motivate fuelers plus represent FSM professionally to all customers and airport officials.
  • Meet and maintain all airport ramp certifications
  • Meet work shift availability, including holidays and extended work hours plus
  • Able to fuel aircrafts and able to lift 80 pounds.
