About The Position

The fueler role is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are properly fueled within the terminal as well as supporting the shop crew with maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities

  • Fuel vehicles throughout all types of weather conditions (shelter will be provided).
  • Check oil & all other fluid levels and refill as needed.
  • Check dates on DOT Stickers and vehicle registrations.
  • Maintain all records associated with fuel pump operation.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness including surrounding shop area.
  • Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
  • Assist with assessing vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.
  • Report obvious vehicle and/or shop area problems to shop manager.
  • General shop helper including simple vehicle repairs such as changing light bulbs and mirrors.
  • Record vehicle maintenance information such as gallons, mileage and vehicle number on tablet.
  • Adhere to company work safety policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
