This is a skilled position involving fueling, servicing and maintaining road construction equipment and mechanical equipment such as trucks, trailers, paving machines, bulldozers, asphalt paving and other equipment by performing the following duties. CDL Class B with Hazmat required
Requirements
- CDL Class B with Hazmat required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Responsibilities
- Inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
- Fuel equipment as needed
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Replaces filters as needed .
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Oils and Lubricates equipment and cleans parts.
- Starts devices to test their performance
