About The Position
The Fueler position at Cox Automotive involves distributing and accurately recording gasoline disbursed in vehicles. Responsibilities include entering fuel usage in AS400 via a portable terminal, starting vehicles, checking fuel gauges, marking vehicles that need fuel, and returning to fuel them. The role also requires reporting and recording auction gasoline levels, alerting the proper person to avoid running out of gasoline, reporting inoperable vehicles, and reporting damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles. Additionally, the Fueler will assist customers in locating vehicles, support sale day duties, assist in audits of gasoline disbursement, and visibly demonstrate a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures. Other duties may be assigned by management.
