About The Position
Signature Aviation is a market-leading global aviation services provider with over 220 locations and 6,000 employees worldwide. We are currently seeking a Fueler to join our team at Jacksonville International Airport. The Fueler is responsible for fueling and servicing aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment used in fueling operations. This role involves performing fueling and de-fueling operations in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining accurate accounting of fuel transactions, and performing de-icing functions as required. The Fueler will also be responsible for maintaining equipment in a clean and functional condition, ensuring correct loading and balancing of fuel, and using fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft. The position requires the ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The Fueler will regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate clearly in English with others. Additionally, the role involves lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds and operating company vehicles safely. The Fueler must report to work regularly and on time, wear the prescribed uniform and insignia, and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
