About The Position
Signature Aviation is a leading global aviation services provider with over 220 locations and 6,000 employees worldwide. We are currently seeking a Fueler to join our team at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Fueler will be responsible for the fueling and servicing of aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient operations of the equipment used in these processes. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards of safety and efficiency that our company is known for. As a Fueler, you will perform fueling and de-fueling operations in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring accurate accounting of fuel transactions. You will also be responsible for performing de-icing functions as required and maintaining equipment in a clean and functional condition. The role requires ensuring the correct loading and balancing of fuel, utilizing fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft. This position involves working in varying weather and environmental conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The physical demands of the job include regularly standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking or hearing. You will also need to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Clear communication in English is essential for performing job duties and ensuring safety. You will be required to wear a uniform and insignia as prescribed by the company and report to work regularly and on time.
