About The Position

The Fueler / Cleaner position at VVTA in Hesperia involves ensuring that all vehicles are completely fueled and ready for service, as well as maintaining cleanliness both inside and outside the vehicles. Requirements

• Must be over 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a CDL or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled and ready for service.
• Clean vehicle exteriors and interiors according to the contract.
• Ensure vehicle emergency equipment is fully stocked and functional.
• Document and communicate any fleet damage to the manager.
• Maintain the work area according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Clean, mop, and dispose of trash in the shop area daily.
• Perform facility cleaning as needed, including trash, windows, restrooms, and vacuuming.
• Post notices in vehicles as required by the client.
• Ensure all vehicles contain system brochures.
• Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.
