For proof, look no further than our strong working relationships and extraordinary workforce. We are looking for a Fuel Truck Driver for full time maintenance position in Norco, LA. This position will drive and operate the fuel truck at the jobsite.

Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience hauling heavy equipment
  • TWIC required
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B required with HAZMAT and Tankerman endorsement
  • Pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test
  • DOT card
  • Shift work; rotating days and nights; must be willing to be on call and able to work overtime as needed
  • High school or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of DOT Regulations
  • Ability to interpret information such as travel path/driving routes, billing tickets, operating instructions, and both company and client procedures
  • Ability to drive Manual Transmission Equipment
  • CDL License
  • Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate the fuel truck at the jobsite
  • Moves hand and foot levers to control operating equipment
  • Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed
  • May assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects
  • May be required to manipulate equipment on un-level working surfaces.
